Spring has sprung the birds are singing

Clean up your lawn is the first beginning

Rake and brush gently away those dead leaves, twigs and branches. This allows new fresh vibrant grass to emerge and get off to a flying start.

Cut back any trees and shrubs that shade the lawn, as this stops the grass from growing, due to lack of light.

Raise the height of your mower

Just ‘top’ the grass to begin with, as cutting it too low puts stresses on the grass and sets it back. Spring is the time to encourage the growth, so feed and selective weed.

Tip Top – Topsoil

Repair any patches or create a fresh lawn using good quality topsoil, turf or grass seed.
